I would like to introduce the Trelawny Slot Car Club based in Falmouth.
The track is situated in a double garage owned by the host Mark. I have raced on it myself a few times and it is an interesting circuit to run on. The track is obviously not very big but is a very smooth routed 3 lane wood track and is best described a "sprint track" with sharp corners and short straights. So the cars I would expect to do well would be those with good acceleration and braking, rather than those with highest top speed. But we will see.
I would also like to give a 5 star award to DHL who delivered the cars from Nottingham to Falmouth (door to door) by their next day delivery (at least a 6 hour car drive without stopping)

Loose parts
Someone asked me this week about this topic, so as to explain it is my policy that if any cosmetic parts come off the cars during a Round the host places the parts into a self sealing plastic bag carried around within the box of cars until the end of the series. This is because simply replacing the part onto the car makes it more likely that it will come off the next time or thereafter etc. So in my view it is safer to bag it than risk it getting lost around another track.
So far we have:
Brumos RSR Camaro- rear boot wing.
BatManx Camaro Z28 -rear wheel insert
RoadRunners Ferrari 330 Spyder- black windscreen wiper blade
Team Cube Ferrari 250GTO -Chrome windscreen wiper blade
ALS McLaren M6A- original pinion & drivers head
