Pitlane Review (Round1)
Kinara Trophy
1st Place - Brumos RSR- Porsche 904 (20pts)
2nd Place - ModSports -Corvette Stingray (15pts)
3rd Place - RoadRunners - Ferrari 250GTO (11pts)
From the qualifying round it was clear that these 3 cars were going to be the leading contenders, but there is a long way to go.

Gerry Marshall Trophy
1st Place - LeManx -Jaguar XJ12C (20pts)
2nd Place - Brumos RSR - Camaro (15pts)
3rd Place - Bangers Racing - Rover SD1 (11pts)
Similarly I had put my money on a battle between the Camaro and the Jaguar in this event, they just both seem to have the brute force to win through. The Rover faired better for grip than it did on my Carrera track., and the Camaro Z28 of Batmanx again demonstrating that a well prepared standard chassis car can compete at the top, so well done to Ed. Sadly ALS Camaro seemed to develop running issues on the 2nd of the two runs with the crown gear coming loose, this probably robbed them of a potential 3rd or 4th Place. 

Whitsun Trophy
1st Place - RoadRunners - Ferrari 330P Spyder (20pts)
2nd Place - LeManx - Ford GT40 (15pts)
3rd Place - Sam D - Chaparral 2E (11pts)
This will be an interesting Event, did not quite think the RoadRunners Ferrari had enough in it to be on top, so very pleased to take the first round win. Modsports Ford MKIV not running as well as I had expected, so would have lost my money on that.

General comments
Is was another well run round by our hosts Viking Slot Car Club, with a great set of videos giving us a insight to how the cars performed on their track. Many thanks to AdeC and the other participating Club Members.

The 2nd Round will be East Lancs Slot Car Club ( Policar track) next Sunday.
I had not originally planned on having the two Policar Club Rounds running directly after each other, but circumstances changed so it has just turned out that way. I will be there assisting with the running of the Round and recording some videos I hope.
It will be interesting to see how the cars run at this new venue.
