Good Morning,I have updated the rules on the leading page of the post, there are no additional rule changes but a couple of clarifications, and I have included a few more cars to the list (as its all one document now).
On point which has been raised is the use of Revoslot bodies with 3d chassis, which I will designate as Class B cars as the bodies are definitely not lightweight.
The Revoslot RTR cars with metal chassis are not permitted in this proxy as they are anglewinder configuration.
In general I am very satisfied with this set of rules which I "hope" will give us a very competitive mixture of Class A, B and Class C constructed cars.
The motors have been intentionally restricted in this proxy to those of a similar Torque and rpm, to avoid favorable magnetic traction effects on the plastic tracks and to make for more balanced controlled environment for the hosts. Class A cars are permitted to use the same motors as the Class C/B cars which should give them a fighting chance in the Events.
The chassis have been intentionally used to define each Class Type, metal chassis are permitted but constricted to use with Class A or Resin bodies but not lightweight Class C bodies as defined. I know that for a couple of entrants this change from my previous proxies was disappointing, but my reasoning is that lightweight body shells on rigid metal chassis gives a particular advantage in regards to the models stability on the track and the majority of the entrants are not sufficiently skilled to adopt them themselves. Using Class A body with higher weight model shells, that advantage is less pronounced.
I am inviting entrants to offer their names to the entry list which I will update from time to time.
