I would suggest that without the added brass chassis location plates and the interior the weight of the TA body would be significantly less.

The body of the Revell body is 16.5gms with the standard interior.

And 14 and change with a lightweight interior on a Revell 11.8 grams if you “lighten” the body.  I’ve done it.  You can’t race a car without the body mounted and if I didn’t post that picture on Facebook you wouldn’t have it. My sidewinder version finished 5th so I’m not crushing anyone. You made it clear you don’t want these cars in your proxy.  It’s your proxy.
