 Good Morning,
As we will soon be into 2024, it is the final time to listen to feedback for the proposal I am making for the Goodwood Revival Proxy below.

My ideas have evolved since my first proposal, the 3 Events have changed in nature which should appeal to different entrants.
Event 1 " Closed Cockpit cars 1959-1964" is now effectively a Standardish based Event with 20k rpm in line motor limited to those listed. I hope this will bring together a range of "Class A type standard models, resin model based entries etc in a closely fault contest.

Event 2 " Group 1 & 2 Saloons 1970 -1982" this has attempted to constrict the range of motors and orientation to give a closer match between entrants cars.

Event 3 "Sports Prototypes 1960-1965" this again should give a close running competition between cars of the same sidewinder orientation, but recognising that this event is most clearly aligned to Class C constructed cars it seemed pointless not to raise the motor specs accordingly.

I wanted with this proxy to allow for more participants to become involved but still to restrict the overall number of running cars to a practical 30 car limit. However more likely that we will end up with between 15 to 25 entrants, so I think there will be spaces which can be filled with 2nd car entries. As to how these can be introduced will depend on how this proxy is received. But I will ensure that those wishing to enter more than one Event do get a reasonable length of time to prepare, so at the moment I am thinking of minimum of 3 notice from the start time in September.

obviously the target will be for entrants to enter the best car they can for each Event and any construction award should be regarded as of secondary importance. I have yet to decide how the latter might be judged, and will depend on who decides to enter and with which cars.
 Although I have stopped short of dictating exactly what type of car construction can enter which Event, in reality I think the 3 Events have polarised naturally into those who might prefer to enter one or the other using a particular construction, so perhaps a Class award may not be needed at all ?
