Goldrock is really a home track , and although quite large ( for a home track ) benefits cars that are tuned for this type of sectional track , rather than a club track , which are often much smoother and often have larger radius curves
therefore usually gives different overall results to other tracks in the series , which i see as a good thing
there are atleast two or three cars in this proxy that are extremely fast which will suit other tracks but are at a disadvantage here
guide depth can also be a factor , a couple of cars in the next two events have very deep guide flags which will impede them , but will suit other tracks
this is why i like proxy racing , the cars have to be a kind of ' jack of all trades '
finding that elusive sweet spot is the ultimate aim for all of us
something i seem to be struggling with recently :)
I was bemused to see my Honda Civic on the top spot, I would not have put any money on that coming in 1st for any of the Rounds

I thought running the cars at 10 volts might have upset some of the cars.
