Last night we had the busiest Slot Rally night we've ever had in our current location (3 years), with 10 drivers and 40 cars competing it was a fantastic evening.
After last weekends proxy runs I wanted to see how my XK120 Jag would compare with a quicker motor, as I said in my car preview video I now know that it was massively under powered so now has a Shark 25k fitted with everything else the same on the car.
On the same tracks as saturdays proxy the two runs combined last night was 130.97 seconds, with the Pioneer 18k motor on saturday the combined run time was 140.27 seconds, it was still easy to drive but now 'gets there' much sooner.
I was saying to the lads last night that by the time we'd finished on Saturday I was all 'rallied out'. We have Rally every 5 weeks, so 10 times per year, 4 cars each which equates to 40 runs per year. On Saturday we did the equivalent of twice this in 6 hours each!

Life is like a box of Slot cars...
