It is a feature of this type of proxy event where these tracks are needed to make up sufficient number of stages and Rounds as many hosts do not have permanent fixed wood based Rally tracks.
So having failed in my attempt to use a persuasive approach, probably it would have been best to have used a mandatory requirement to use specified guides from NSR, Avant or Ninco. Although I am not planning another similar event in this Proxy series, it is something I think maybe necessary if we were looking any further ahead....

Well TBH we were warned and as you said, the punishment is to our own detriment.
So I think a recommendation is fair enough personally.
I did rush my entries in and didn't have time to test on those surfaces, I expected it would come back and bite me, and it has !
