Finally, had some free time so got to spend some time with the Mighty Metro.
Base for this was the shell and interior Andy sent after the TR7 proxy ages ago.
Used a PSC chassis with a bog standard short can Scalextric motor, wheels/tyres are a Pitlane spare from an Alfa I believe, spoiler from a Mini Cooper and rear flap from an old mtb inner tube. Paint is Pure White Tamiya and is probably the best paint job I’ve done so far.
Slot in the rear screen should have been holes but is now a ventilation gap after getting a bit heavy handed with a drill!!!
Oh, now powered by a Jag XJ 220 rear mounted engine ?
It’ll never win any races but should be ok to sling round my carpet track.
