6mm guide depth maximum
is this the depth of the guide flag (out of the packet / trimmed ) without braid ?
or 6mm from underside of braid to bottom of guide ?
and after my latest American proxy track clearance episode , can we be clear on what exactly will be an infringement please Graham ( gears . motor . adjustable axle screws etc )
front wheels / tyres , touching track or not ?
so we will have 4x proxy rally events through out the year with 3x classes in each event ?
think thats it

Hi Kev,
just caught up with your posting, depth of guide flag is without braids - i will clarify that in the rules. The Rally tracks often use Classic Scalextric/SCX shallow track guide rail.
The Event Clearance rule is specifically to avoid beeching and excessive motor magnatraction advantage on plastic tracks. So I will be checking with a plastic rod guage that both the motor and chassis is is clear by 1.5mm of the track surface.
Couple of questions for clarity?
CBdesign wheels say a steel wheel, 5 spoke or Staffs wheels say a minilite are illegal?
will I be competing against myself with a 911S and a Hillman Imp?
Or would the Imp be Event 1 the Porsche Event 3?
