Micro Scalextric 2019 Eliminators

Seven entrants meant top qualifier Iain would sit out the first round...

   

Bill and Andy faced off in the 4th vs 5th qualifier race - Bill's blue Corvette getting and holding a 0.033 second gap through the line. Their ETs were 0.433 and 0.465.

   

Kev's Firebird picked off Nico's Lead Sled in the next race - the gap was 0.060 and the ETs 0.426 and 0.479.

   

The third and final Round One race saw a close one between Team Ken and Rebecca. The gap opened up to 0.026 seconds by the end, the ETs 0.438 and 0.457.

Semi Finals

Iain stepped in to face Bill...

   

... and it was one of those races you had no idea who'd won. The gap was 0.004 seconds - equal ETs at 0.427 - so a holeshot win for Bill and elimination for the top qualifier!

   

The second semi wasn't quite as close, but was still an exciting race... Kev nicked it at the end, a 0.013 second gap - their ETs 0.418 and 0.429.

Pretty much neck & neck...

   

But Kev pinched it by the slimmest of margins on the line...

   

Despite Bill finishing faster...
