Nostalgia T-Jet Eliminators
Top qualifier Iain had a bye in Round One - the first race was between Ken and Rebecca...
This was close - Ken starting well but fading at the end. Rebecca closed the gap, but not quickly enough - Ken's winning margin was 0.036 seconds. The ETs 0.765 and 0.783.
Andy gave Bill a good run, but the Torino won by 0.045 seconds. Their ETs were 0.806 and 0.846.
The sole Round Two race was between Iain and Ken - and would decide who'd meed Bill in the final...
The form was turned on its head here - Ken's Challenger put together a sensational run and set a time Iain would have been delighted by. The Chevy was sluggish off the line and took time to get going. Ken won by 0.073 seconds - the ETs 0.675 and 0.745. Definitely one of the quickest T-Jet runs we've seen.
That gives an all North American final...
And this is what happened...
Ken bossed the start...
And the entire strip...
A great win...
Huge congrats to Ken on his first RCR medal win...
Here's the ladder...
And the stats...
