You will likely need a pinion press as well as a puller

Don't cheap out on these............quality tools will not only provide more accurate removal/installation, but, they will last !!
Hudy, JK, and Sloting Plus, are a few of the brands I would recommend. The Slot-it puller/press is also quite good , and , popular, but see if you can find the version with the anodised aluminum housing......the plastic/fibre housing version has been known to flex a bit.
