It is ridiculously tight at the top - Alan W moves back up to second, just 0.17 behind Alan B and Phil F is 0.09 'adrift' in third! A mere 4.57 seconds covers the top six and - with longer stages planned next weekend - that's nothing. Craig and Kevin might still have realistic hopes of getting into the top five - or even snatch a place on the podium. Noah's Escort is the best of the junior entrants and Gill is the top female competitor.

In Class A - the Scalextric WRC cars - the standings look like this...

1. Graham Edwards - 346.66 seconds
2. Noah Passell - 358.01 (+11.35)
3. Jeremy Belcher - 362.86 (+16.2)
4. Dylan Passell - 362.93 (+16.27)
5. Doug Passell - 364.67 (+18.01)
6. Paul Cooper - 374.49 (+27.83)
7. David Passell - 374.58 (+27.92)
8. Andy Player - 374.61 (+27.95)
9. Rebecca Shtasel - 377.26 (+30.6)
10. Mike Scott - 380.38 (+33.72)
11. Clive Mills - 382.69 (+36.03)
12. Simon Kendall - 432.09 (+85.43)

Some very close battles there - especially for the podium places.

In Class B - Scalextric 'Group B' - it looks like this...

1. Oli Abbott - 356.53 seconds
2. Andy & Rebecca - 362.72 (+6.19)
3. Graham Edwards - 365.11 (+8.58)
4. Doug & Noah - 374.51 (+17.98)
5. Paul Cooper - 379.37 (+22.84)
6. Andy Davis - 396.93 (+40.4)
7. Clive Mills - 404.03 (+47.5)
8. Leo Capaldi - 404.23 (+47.7)
9. David & Dylan - 411.8 (+55.27)

With the SCX Classic track coming up next, there's still a question mark over whose guide blades might be a little too deep - plus there's the varied mix of surfaces over the final four stages. It's a long event  - a few cars have been dropping down the order and others are finding their form. Another factor is that all my cars (including the shared Class B RS200) will be getting the median stage times for their class. We should know the result in 14 days time.
