The RTR car is still showing as "New item not yet released" on their website.
I can't even see white kits or complete white bodies listed on Gaugemaster, do you have any info if these are shipping with the finished cars to retailers ?

In the message I had, 'the Skyline' was singular rather than plural - so assuming it's just the liveried car. I've noticed the Gaugemaster website can be a little slow being updated with slot cars - they are often on the retailers' websites first. That is probably to avoid undercutting their retailers in any way.

Thanks Woodcote.
Disappointing from the only (as far as I know) UK importer if that's the case, but at least I am now prepared for that disappointment !

A package arrived from Spain today
It contained 2 Sideways Skyline white body kits, 2 skyline flexy chassis, 2 flexy wings and various sundries.
I am pleased to say I appear to have all the right bits in both, which is something that hasn't been happening in some of the M6 kits I hear.
I test fitted everything and all looks good, the etched metal grills in the widebody are fiddly but will fit on the tabs and align correctly if you get them just so …
All components put in sealed bags.
"Flexy" wings glued to uprights with polystyrene cement and drying.
2 blue chassis magnetically attached to circular saw blade and awaiting until after tea to go through the straightening process.
Then the painting starts …

Am due to possibly race this tomorrow, and I was still not happy with the look of the wheels ..... so purists - look away now.
I just fitted it with ScaleAuto Sebring alloys.
The rears are the largest available at 17.8mm x 10mm, and I fitted a high profile NSR Ultragrip 21.5 x 11.5 - which are more like 22.3mm on these big hubs before truing.
The fronts are 16.9mm x 10mm, managed to stretch some Slot.it PT07 zero grips over the fronts
The end result are feet which I like the look of, and fill the wheel arches better.
The 0.5mm offset sidewinder pod has also been raised 1mm with spacers between the underside of the pod logs and the top side of the chassis.
If I was fussier, I would have used a 1mm offset sidewinder pod ... ah well.
I am yet to lift the front axle ride height, to drop the nose for the larger front wheels. - I'll do that when I have finished truing the tyres tonight.
That will lower the front stance about 1mm, and bury the wood guide I just fitted, pretty much full depth.

I haven't looked for the original wheel type, but your choice look good and suit the body style in my opinion.
It looks low and light, so bodes well for the track?
I love puttering with gears
