I don't mind some concourse prizes but allocating points for racing should be separate, 10 rounds of race points is worth more than 10 times a one-off concourse vote.

This one has been decorated using a uk 3d printed body kit ( 1930 Hudson kit)
And a 1930’s Chevy from the US based 3A3D designs

edited to make a list of questions...
1. Would you allow guides ahead of the front of the car?
2. Does the car need to have a roof?
3. Can we make a hot rod out of any car in the era you would like to define?
4. How about inline only?

1. I would say yes for the Vintage Hot Rod class, as it appears to be as they are. Modern class Hot Rods would not be permitted to have guides in front of body.
2. From what i have seen Vintage Hot Rods were with and without roofs.
3. The Vintage Hot Rods i believe were from the 30’s or 40’s era ? so any car or pick up truck from that period would be ok. Modern Hot Rod Class would be 50’s & 60’s ?
4. Probably only inline for Hot Rod cars.

All the vintage Hot Rods in our club are limited to a 14k slim line motor, and 6mm wheel width. That way the delicate cars like T-buckets can survive the race.
Here's the same 32 Ford roadster with a roof.

Now I'm confused Graham, earlier you said it could be these... (National Hot Rods)
Now you're talking about 'modern' being 50's & 60's
Is this proxy for oval race cars, drag cars or street cars?
