Trelawney, thank you for running round 2….. it appears you all had a blast with our cars. Not sure how the club decided on drivers but thinking of the fun factor for a second. 6 club mates driving 2 for each event one each lane. Again thank you and it’s neither here nor there for me. Thank you and I love the track. Graham as always, thank you for organizing. I’m learning, I build better road racing cars than time trial cars. Keep having fun and I’m looking forward to the next round.

I love this! Maximizing the car within its potential and even closer results may be the outcome. My first ever proxy series, 2012 Slot It Shootout, the overall winner was based on total laps completed over 10 races. The only thing timed was the length of time each car was on a lane.

On my Hillclimb track I was using 13.5 volts, but as a single lane it was very long with a 15+sec lap time, so actually the cars were not running very fast.
It depends a lot on each track and of course available Marshall’s.

The #1 thing I'm hoping for is a record number of rounds with video

I ran out of battery power on my phone when I did my round on the last stage, so had to quickly borrow my wife’s camera to complete the videos

The box of cars is at the local Depot and should be delivered tomorrow, so Round 3 (stages 5&6) should take place over the weekend.

cars unboxed , all travelled well with no obvious signs of any damage
which is testament to Graham's organising
was hoping to finish early today and do the qually this evening , but work had other ideas
unboxed as they came out of the box , so in no particular order
box 1
box 2
box 3
box 4
box 5
cars will have a check , a test run and tyres cleaned for qualifying tomorrow morning ( will post results asap )
with the races following over the course of the weekend
will try to supply footage , but no promises , my guest driver couldn't make it , so i am on my lonesome
good luck everyone
