Yes the earlier SD1 or the later as the Vitesse is allowed, I have permitted the car in both Events 2 & 3
If it’s an old Scalex version just be careful that the wheel width limit of 57mm is not exceeded as an Event 2 entry.

I'm getting a bit confused here Graham.

There's cars listed in two different events.
Ninco cars not allowed in the Ninco class.
Under 3 litre cars in the over 3 litre class.

I'm finding I'm going down the list to see what I might have then double checking on Google to make sure I'm looking at the right cars and not making much headway.
The Rover is more work than I really want to do.

There's already a width limit across the tyre walls, wouldn't it be far less confusing to stick to that? Together with a maximum body width for event 2?

Ok been a busy day, but to answer your question. My main aim is to have 3 Events with different cars in each, with maybe one or 2 exceptions.
Basically
I have intentionally designed Event 1 biased for small saloons and Mini "narrow" cars.
And obviously Event 3 is designed for quite the opposite for any large saloon "wide cars" Like some early BTCC, DTM and some other Silhoette Saloons.

So Event 2 is meant to be for cars which are "inbetween". Conveniently most of the "Super & Modern" Touring cars  fall into this group. Mostly Scalextric & SCX based and a few Nincos fall into this group (probably no Carrera's, so I might as well drop them, but I am not very familiar with Carrera brand cars) So it is on this basis that I have chosen the cars for each group.

I will clear up the anomolies in the heading titles, as I can see that as the proxy ideas have evolved, some things have not been updated.

As you say we're still in the draft stage, ironing out the bumps in the road.

And just for clarity, are chassis with separate motor pods permitted? There is no mention of them in the rules.

I love puttering with gears

That's a very good point. I will add the clarification into the chassis section as point 3.
But yes separate motor pods are allowed in all 3 Events.
