Yes you are correct, the Scalextric version BMW 3.0 CSL car did not run in the Targa Florio (as far as I am aware) if it had been I would have designated it as a Group 3 car . Save it for another day....
The Maserati, Ferrari 166 and the Jaguar D type are permitted as in Group 1.
And the Porsche 911 Carerra RSR would be classified as a Group 3 car.

Or is the Porsche a 934, eligible for Group 2?

Porsche 934 is on the Group 3 list.
Porsche 911 (1966), Porsche 911S (1967), Porsche 904 GTS (1964) and Porsche 906 Carrera 6 (1966) are in the Group 2 list

I have to put my hand up and confess I transferred the Porsche 934 from Group 3 to Group 2 with the last rule change……the reason being that it is the next car to be released by Revoslot and it would only be permissible in Group 2. Not thinking if anyone would ask to enter a plastic chassis Porsche 934. Doh!
So basically if it’s a Revoslot with metal chassis as a modified standard car then Group 2 if it is a procar based on the Porsche 934 with plastic chassis it will need to go into Group 3
Basically the Porsche 934 is a prototype Group 4 car, so should go into our Group 3, but Revoslots tend to be more to scale than other brands like Scalex or Fly. So I would allow the Revoslot version to reside in Group 3
I will clarify it in the car list.

I also have a Proslot Porsche, which I believe is the body that Revoslot use on their model. Wider arches and high wing.

A BMW that's pretty well ready, an Alfa that needs fettling, and a Ford that needs building.
