I just checked and the bare bodyshell weighs 15.8g, it's printed to scale and been sat on my shelf with a chassis I also designed and printed.
The reason I never finished it was the complicated rear window I couldn't gee myself up to make.
The Area TA71kit has just arrived, the bare body is 7.4gms, with 3d printed interior and vac formed (untrimmed) glazing total wt 10.92 gms. Now the chassis is not as wide as it could have been, so adding ballast will be challenging. But I will make the model with all the parts as supplied and see how it runs.

Yes but what would the body weigh without the chassis mounting plates with screwed inserts?

So without the important parts that are integrated into the body to mount it, really? The factory mounting system on the 250 SWB ( as you made me think about it) is the ONLY Area71 car I have where I could create a system without using my normal method, it would weigh just over 14.2-14.5 grams this way. In this proxy series, I would consider my new mounting system an unfair advantage. With the way I’ve ALWAYS mounted my bodies, it would weigh 17-18 grams. Keep in mind only 1 Area71 car has run in Graham’s proxies on a brass chassis, it finished mid pack in class.

I think what Graham was getting at was the weight of the bare bodyshell as it comes from A71 before you fix anything else to it.

I have today updated the car lists for the proxy, so the Ferrari 250GTO, and 250P are added along with the Lancia D24. I have listed the Ferrari 250LM in both Groups 2 & 3, but which ever Group you enter it in must comply with the restrictions placed on the Group.
Additionally I have included Group 1 cars, the Aston Martin DB3, DB3S, Austin Healey 100/6, BMW 507, Chevrolet Corvette C1, Jaguar D Type and Triumph TR2 & TR3, as they all competed in similar road races during the era. And it could make for increased interest in entries for the Classic car group.
Before anyone asks, I have put a note on that the Thunderslot Shelby 350GT is not permitted in Group 2.
In Group 3, I was already was asked to allow the Porsche Carrera 6 as a PP chassis car into Group 2, I have now moved both this & Porsche 904 cars into Group 2 as both models are quite narrow in comparison with the other prototype cars in the same group. I also added the Matra MS650 in the Group 3 which took part in the Tour de France Road Race.

I always thought it was a shame that SlotIt didn't do a Matra MS650 to go with their Matra MS670

To be honest it is very unlikely one would be entered. But I thought Slot it may be thinking of making a MS650 series, if so this would be a good one.

It was a photo from the Protoslot Facebook page of the actual Tour de France cars. LMM have recently released the MS650 Le Mans recently, still in stock at PSR.
