It's good to see an evolution of Class A car rules as the Class A Touring Proxy cars have mostly struggled with severe lack of pace. Thumbup

This afternoon to make things easier I have added the list of eligible motors as an Appendix to the Technical rules for ease of viewing.
Additionally I have put all the car lists together now including a list for the Event 2 Inter-Series cars as one document.
There maybe cars missing which someone would intend to enter which I am happy to consider adding to the lists.  But if its only for the sake of just listing car names I won't bother. I have removed one car which is really a LMP model from the Global GT1 list.

The documents have been updated on the leading page.

One car I had in mind was an Aston Martin DBR9, it's a GT1 not a GT3, made it's GT1 debut in 2005.

According to Racing Sports Cars website it raced as a GT3 in 2006, so I am happy to leave it there.

Graham, Proably me being thick here but the document on page 1 says for eligible motors see Appendix 1.

I can't find any Appendix 1, where is it?

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
We have been relatively fortunate in running these Proxys in being able to run them virtually on a week to week basis and relied on Next Day deliveries services in order to meet these tight schedules. It is of course impossible to factor in the kind of 3 week delay caused by the I of M delivery company, whose services we will avoid using in future, so I am hopeful that that was a one off very bad experience.
However now that I am freed from running 3 Proxys a year, I feel it will be better for the hosts and for my own wellbeing to spread the Rounds out with two week intervals. This means that according to my diary that if we run for 10 rounds (depending on willing hosts). This proxy will run from March until early July.

With this position of front body post, using tape or visible Blu Tac, to prevent screw loss, would either be impossible to apply, or severely restrict the operation of the guide.

The rule needs to be modified to allow this screw position, which is fairly common, especially in Ninco models. The guide will probably act as a prevention for screw loss, anyway. Access to put the screw in is pretty difficult, in the first place. Sometimes drilling the braid plate to make it easier to adjust the screw.

Cheers Chris
