Plenty of space available on my right door, perfect visibility for the cameras...

Some of us need to know more about Hornet tires. What scales and sizes do you carry?

Hey Bill,

to put it simply, I build the tyres that are needed.
The basic assortment currently consists of 64 different types of tyres, about 70% of which are original replacements in various designs, and 30% custom tyres with our own developments.
In addition, there are all the tyres that are owned by the customers and only they can use their own moulds, so to speak their own tyres. Nico is also one of my most valued customers. In the American custom sector, my tyres are also very popular and there are also customers who have their own tyres made by me. Everything is handmade, including the moulds.

More information can be found in my Facebook group, where I always post the news first, before the information ends up somewhere else. I also post future projects and updates or colours and designs there first.
Here is the link for all those who are interested:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/396205854184005/
Contacting me is also easiest via Facebook, as it's an international group and I don't have to check so many forums every day.

HORNET was once created under this name, where it was all about tyres, based on the famous Hudson Hornet. Today HORNET is more than just tyres, there is another group where it's all about slotcar designs that are made with water transfer printing and a slotcar is only complete when it gets matching decals that I also make.

If you are interested, just write to me on Facebook.

Thanks for your interest!
Greetings from Germany

Well, that's embarrassing! I put the larger tyres on for this race in the hope of going sub 4, but failed to check that they were still within the rules for this class. Hope you'll accept that it was not my intent to gain an unfair advantage.

Iain

Wow, hated to see your car DQ.  It’s so easy to do.  Especially the way these MS cars really like tall tires.  I had some tires on mine that were just a hair over .500.  If pushed hard enough they would squeeze through a .500 tire gauge but I pulled them off just to be safe.

That car was fast!!!  We’ll certainly be hearing more from it in the future.

Bill, that DQ was painful but warranted. At least Andy didn't send me a sticker for it!

Just like Jeremy mentioned in an earlier post, the motor/chassis of the Ford is completely ex-factory. It seems that some MS motors are faster than others and it's just a matter of luck when making a purchase-  how I wish I could find a competitive motor for MS street stock!  (I must have at least 30 clunkers...)

My cars also made it safely home today. So many thanks to Andy and also to you Bill for the latest stencils - excellent quality and sure to be used at some time in the future. Thumbup

Jane's street stock was a 'hole shot' eBay golden nugget.

Mine is a fifth generation attempt to find a fast one, and was about to be put on notice following some slowest qualifying times when it started to show some character! Dirt in the motor was the culprit according to the host, if that's any help.

They both have the biggest diameter tyres the regs will permit, which have been on for over a year I think.

I love puttering with gears
