UK HO Drag Proxy Series 2021-22 - Autumn Nationals - September
#21

Ken,
You're right, let's keep it simple!! And yes I also have to prep 7 cars and still waiting on those from last race to be home again.

I'm a slotcar nerd, so you just need to hold me back from time to time ?

Nico,

Don't you just hate it when widsom and maturity set in?  Rofl

The match is still on. Old Vega vs Clunky Cuda. But at the following race. We can discuss match-building the old chassis to make things even via PM.

Word of warning. I will be painting mine to look like eye-candy.

Cheers,  Drinkingcheers

Ken,

No I hate it, but we all learn while getting older....., some call it wisdom some call it never grow up. I'm in the 2nd catagory  Rofl

Deal on the Match race! Then I will redo the body as well! Details on the chassis via PM!

If anyone wants to join in you're more than welcome!!!!!

Nico

P.S. I love eye candy!!!!!!!!!!

Since Nico invited the rest of the crew and opened this challange up. We should inform the group of what we came up.

Stock/factory wheels with slip on silicones
No traction magnets
Old non-magnatraction chassis
Red/wht motor magnets
14-Ohm armature
Braids

The cars are the old funny car bodies with an independent front axle separated from the chassis. Nico has a Vega. I have a Cuda. Fresh paint on both cars.

Meant for the following race. Not this one.

Everyone and anyone welcome.

Nico,

Thanks a million, brother! I'm looking forward to seeing yours. But we better move our builds off this thread before Woodcote smacks us upside the head.

The colour is Tamiya TS-34 camel yellow. What's that old Camel commercial? I'de paint a funny car camel yellow to smoke a Nico? No wait... I'de walk a mile to smoke a Camel. That's it!  Thumbup

Another newbie question please?

I just found this at a local hobby shop today and could not pass it up.

It's certainly not considered nostalgic. Is it an NHRA legal 4gear with the field of funny cars?

My cars are stuck in transit. I may need to prep a second NHRA car. I only had one until today.

Thanks a million!
