UK HO Drag Proxy Series 2021-22 - Autumn Nationals - September
#11

Andy. Thank you very kindly for the confirmation.

Thanks Nico. Sold! All of them!   What?... What do you mean they're not for sale?  Bigsmile

Is that yellow car with the red flames a Vega funny car? Can you please post one more pic of the underside of that car? I would like to compare it to this old clunker. If we're on the subject of what's legal for Magnatraction. Kindly allow me to ask away... I have some strange old cars.

Thanks a million!

@Ken: Will post a pic of the underside tomorrow. But I think its pretty much the same body, front axel seperated from the chassis to extend the wheelbase!

Yes -Ken/Nico. They are both similat underneath, with a separate front axle remote from the powered chassis.

Which iteration of chassis is another matter, as they may well have been swapped out over the years.

Hi Top Down,

Thank you very kindly for the info. It's probably not the original chassis. But it looks like the correct non-magnatraction vintage.

I would need to install a newer style MT chassis. Probably rebuild, paint, and detail the entire body. Wasn't sure if this car was legal for Nostalgia Magnatraction. Always best to ask before starting a project like this.

Cheers,
Ken

It should even take SG+, SRT, Bulldog and Viper chassis sans front axle.

That would shake up the troops! Not sure which class it would run in then though?

You'll have to check whether that screw post interferes with any of them though.

Nico,

Thank you very kindly for posting pics.  Thumbup

Match Race with who? With a Viper chassis? Not me, my friend.  Bigsmile

I might simply go back to the red Camaro for Nostagia MT class and keep it simple.

I might Match Race your old Vega with the old Cuda. But both with the old clunky non-magnatraction chassis we see in the photos. But not this race please. Too many cars to build for this race. Next race.
