The cars currently running on 8mm wide tyres in the TF proxy seem to perform pretty well so we know it's tried & tested.

I would also say that on measurement of the Targa Florio cars, there is a good correlation between track clearance and wheel/ tyre diameter for most cars.
Those with 19mm or above wheel/ tyre diameter have 1.5mm track clearance, those with below 19mm do not have 1.5mm track clearance.
As I know builders will tend to work to the limits, I will make it clear that for this proxy (irrespective of previous ones) I will apply a severe penalty for exceeding the limits, so everyone should allow a little margin for error this time around.

"Triple Crown Award" As I am not proposing to set a series of 3 Proxies in the future in order to offer this award.
Alternatively and perhaps as an encouragement to spread entries across all 3 Events, I will make a special "Triple Crown Award" for the Entrant who's gets the highest number of points for cars entered in all 3 Events. So to qualify for this award entrants must enter a Sports or GT car, Under or Over 2L Touring Car and a F1 or Indy Car.
