Hello to all Carrera tracks fans,
I design any kind of Carrera tracks (from Universal, Go, Evolution to Digital 124).

I need your available space and stock of track parts and I make 3 propositions of designs (respecting the kind of tracks you would like)
You will have the 2D view with all the track parts used, and the stock list used.
I also offer 3D views of what your track you look like.

All this for £20 !!

If interested or have any questions, let me know via comments or message on this forum.

A few examples below of Evolution and Digital tracks - from 25m to 40m long (depending on stock and space availability)

A one-day single-venue version of the Tempest Rally takes place on Tuesday 28 December (tomorrow) at Rushmoor in Hampshire. Because of Covid, it's a strictly non-spectator event, but there will be a live stream from around 8.45am on YouTube...

The entry list (it's an eclectic mix) and live timing can be found on the Sutton & Cheam Motor Club website: https://scmc.co.uk/motorsport/mini-tempest-rushmoor/

Rushmoor is Ministry of Defence land near Aldershot and was a regular venue for stages on the full Tempest event - and now the home of the 2021 Mini Tempest. The eight stages will be run over four slightly different versions of the 'Rushmoor Arena' course - mostly tarmac, but with some dirt and gravel. Although some rain (or snow) would make a great day of viewing on YouTube, I'm hoping for mild and dry weather - I'll be marshalling the event... The forecast suggests I'll have to make do with drizzle and 11-degrees.

Slot Rally Christmas Special - 23 December 2021

Plenty of food and goodies were brought, many thanks to those who brought food: pizza, jacket spuds, pork pies, sausage rolls, mince pies and brandy infused christmas cake.  Christmas jumpers worn by all, prizes won for various achievements…oh and the Rally action was alright too.

Modified 2WD - (next year this will be Pro-Stock 2WD)

7 entries in this class, Brian particularly pleased with his Renault Megane being rallied for the first time and going noticeably better than his Peugeot 208.

Geoff also with two entries in this class, the Peugeot 208 never fails to impress whilst the VW Polo went well in the clockwise direction but a bit of a diva on the anticlockwise run (one too many pork pies maybe).

Gavin had problems with the Porsche on it’s first run due to the bodyshell being too far back and catching the tyres but fixed for the second run. His best runs were with the SCX Citroen C4.

Mike and Kev both with Porsche 997 GT3's were away clear of the other cars in this class, Mike's went best on the first run whilst Kev's was better on the second run .

Open 2WD

4 entries in this class which usually turns out to have the quickest round the Rally stage, Kev’s Scooby again setting the pace this time being chased by Andy’s Ferrari F40 being rallied for the first time…the navigator being particularly reluctant to get in the car but caused much laughter in doing so.
Of the other entries in this class Geoff's Toyota Supra was the closest competitor to Brian's Peugeot 206

The other classes with more than one entry were:

Open Small Classic - Andy’s XK120 Jag vs Kev’s Porsche 904 GTS were only separated by 1 second after 24 laps of the Rally stage was the closest class all night.

Standard SCX Classic - Headlight blazing…Brian’s Abarth 131 vs Kev’s RS1800 Escort

Modified 4WD (Pro-Stock 4WD next year) - both cars were Mike B’s, the Scooby initially holding the lead of these until the second run where deslots cost dearly enabling the Evo X to win the class.

Of the solo runs, Geoff's Jag XK120 in Ninco Classic (unusual to see only one), Gavin's Lancia 037 in Ninco 80s...and who could possibly miss the Santa Mustang, driven well by Andy in Open Classic class.

7 Standard class cars, 9 Modified class cars and 8 Open class cars.

Next week is a Christmas Racing Special…bring it…race it…Christmas jumpers worn for the last time in 2021

…be safe and Covid free and have a fantastic Christmas

Crikey Chief, it's nearly the end of another year.

Which means it's time to hand out some awards for all the great stuff we've seen on the forum over the year.

But this year, our awards have taken on a new form, combining a comic book, with a prestigious and glittering awards ceremony, all hosted by... err robots.

Obviously it's completely bonkers, and somewhat chaotic, but nevertheless we are proud to present...

The Slot Bots, featuring the 2021 SlotRacer Festive Awards

Many of the decisions were very close calls, some were even decided by the toss of a coin. Some were controversial, three involved recounts, and there are appeals and even court cases being considered as we speak.

Please feel free to disagree with the choices, add in anything we've missed, or generally discuss the wisdom of this mad idea.

Just bought a really nice car which sadly has glue damage on the tail. I've managed to shave the high spots off but there are also hollows where the plastic cement has eaten into the surface. Can anyone recommend a fine, preferably white, filler that will adhere well but is easy to sand please?

The NoMagnetRing 3.0 is my third home track

History
The first version was a Ninco 2 lanes track. Sadly, due to a computer crash I don't have any more pictures of this 15 meters track Angry

Then, about 11 years ago, came a 3 lanes wood track, designed by Sillage Racing.
Here are a few pictures some of you may have seen on different forum :
