  • Le Mans Miniatures Aston Martin DBR1 Nürburgring 1959 One of Stirling Moss’s greatest drives, the 1959 Nürburgring 1000 km saw Moss drive 41 of the 44 laps around the Nordschleife and hijacked what was expected to be Ferrari vs Porsche battle. The visit to the Eiffel mountains set things up nicely for Aston Martin’s Le Mans 24 hour victory later in the month. The LMM model of this historic car is available for pre-order.
  • Revoslot Datsun 510 Gulf, Paul Newman & Peter Gregg Three new liveries on the 1:32 scale Revoslot Datsun 510 platform are now available at Pendle Slot Racing. The trio includes a Gulf livery, plus models of two Trans-Am cars – Peter Gregg’s BRE from 1972 and Paul Newman’s from ’74.
  • Slot.it Group C New Releases Slot.it are expecting three additions to their formidable Group C range to land with retailers on 12 September. There’s an IMSA Jag, Spanish Porsche 962C and a Lancia LC2 from the 1988 Monza 1000 km.
  • More slot cars unveiled at Margate on Thursday Scalextric have given us three announcements of new cars in 2024 and this week’s unveiling is the final piece of the jigsaw with cars expected in the final quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. Rumours suggest there’s more new tooling and plenty of treats for motorsport fans. Stay tuned on the Scalextric socials.
