Super Shells reference numbers were always a bit of a mystery. All models could be bought as body kits only, in which case a plastic chassis was supplied, or as complete kits with or without motor. Depending on the parts supplied, reference numbers would change completely. Some cars had four different numbers so the following listing will just refer to them as ‘car #1’ and so on.
The photos below are of built cars and some have enhanced paint schemes and extra detailing added to the base body.

#1, 1961 World Champion F1 Ferrari 156 “Sharknose”, red or yellow.
Lotus Elite
#2, Lotus Elite, injected in polythene, dark green, red, light blue, or white.
E Type Jaguar Coupe
#3, E Type Jaguar Coupe, red, blue, black or white.
BRM P57
#4, 1962 World Champion F1 BRM P57, red, blue or metallic green. Two versions of this could be made from the kit – late version with air scoop as above or early season type with ‘stackpipe’ exhausts.
Ferrari 250P
#5, 1963 Ferrari 250P, red or white.
Lotus 25
#6, 1963 World Champion F1 Lotus 25, green or yellow.
Lotus 30

#8, 1964 World Champion F1 Ferrari 158 V8, red or yellow.

#11, 1966 Porsche Carrera, grey or green. This car has been repainted because the roof was originally moulded in clear plastic.
