Introduction
This month we will see the start of the proxy, most cars have arrived and hopefully get the remaining ones this week.
So I will start the photoshoot of the entrants cars over the next few days and look to do the qualifying during the next weekend.

RoadRunners
Ferrari 250GTO is a Fly body with 3d chassis car originally entered in the 22 IPS and would have been in the 23 IPS if it had taken place. I have changed the tyres from the original 7mm PCS to 8mm BRM (cut down), so on my track it's running better. The Ferrari 330 David Piper Spyder interpretation was a Policar white kit originally which I painted about 2 years ago and remained unfinished until now. The paint job to my eyes is actually rather good which is rather untypical of my usual standard, but I will let others judge

Makem
2 scatchbuild cars, both looking great, personally love both these cars.
The Costin Lister Jaguar based on a resin shell, the Triumph Dolomite on a 3d printed shell. Both with 3d chassis. Not necessarily going to break any lap records, but perhaps a 3rd win of the "Spirit of the proxy" award in mind ?
Life Boats Racing (Jim Scott)
without their usual "RNLI" livery, but I know the entrant is a very keen Jim Clark devotee, and he has done a great job with this Supershell body and 3d printed chassis.
Sam D
After coming 3rd in the "Super Touring Cars Class" in last years proxy, Sam is offering this nicely running Slot it Chaparral 2E this time around.
I am sure this will be a very competitive car.
Team Cube (Oxo cube)
An interesting choice of models, the SRC body Capri with 3dchassis and Long Can Predator motor could be a "Dark horse" against the Camaro's. The Pink Karr body Ferrari 250GTO with 3d chassis might struggle against the more generously proportioned 250GTO versions.
Bangers Racing
What can you say "Triple Crown Winner" but does the entrant have another couple of winners here.
Ford P68 NSR body, Scalex body Rover SD1 both Slot it HRS2 adjustable chassis, could be a winner...or two there.
Ruscillo Racing
Have had mixed results during the proxy years, hoping for better this time. Standard set up cars the Camaro is Pioneer and the GT40 a Slot it. Both cars have competed in previous proxy events, but have been reworked for this one.
The GT40 appeared a couple of times on the podium of the InterSeries proxy in 2022.
Brumos RSR
If there was an award for the entrant whose entered the most proxies, then Tony would certainly win it outright. His expert knowledge has to be admired as much as his persistence. So its always a pleasure to pit ones own talents against him. His preference for metal chassis is demonstrated here with both his cars.
Porsche 904 is a Carrera body car with a formidable looking B&W chassis, if it runs as well as his previous Silver Porsche 904 then I think he can only loose this event by poor luck. The Camero has a Richard Mack steel sprung chassis, probably the best you can find on the scratchbuild components market.
So I expect these cars to be favourites for these Events.
ALS
Another of our welcome participating entrants from the other side of the pond, has mixed proxy results in the past, but these two cars are looking very strong competition. The Camaro is a Scalex body with B&W chassis, and we have a Thunderslot Mclaren, which is the first Thunderslot which has met the requirements of my rule set (not that I am against them). Both cars look to me that they had some action in previous events Stateside but I maybe wrong.
BAracer
In the past has not quite hit the sweet spot in regards to my proxies, but maybe this time will be in among the challengers.
An all yellow Ferrari livery, so easy to spot, The Ferrari 250GTO is a Fly body with 3d chassis, and the Ferrari 412P is Policar with standard chassis but Scaleauto motor mount. So I look forward to see how the RoadRunners & BAracer Ferrari's get on against a challenging field of cars.
Batmanx
One of our 3 Manx Club entrants, specialising in the Modified Standard class of cars. Could be on a winner this time with only 4 modified standard cars participating.
A nice looking pair of cars, the Scalextric Camaro will stand out compared to the other Camaro's.
ModSport (Kevan)
Kevan needs no introduction, regular contributor on Slotracer online and other forums, primarily a club racer but more recently taken to entering our proxy series. Already established as a strong builder of cars and Event winner, the Revell body Corvette with 3d chassis along with the NSR Ford MKIV looks like very competitive cars.
Le Manx
Another preferred scratchbuilder of metal chassis cars, these two cars are looking very strong contenders. The Jaguar XJ12C is a Resin body with B&W chassis, looking like a really mean machine. Similarly the Scalextric bodied Ford GT40 is hiding another one of these bespoke chassis. Both cars are in the money regarding as leading cars I think.
Paul C
A return to our proxy for Paul C (Mountain View), has faired quite well previously and knows how to set up a good car, so it will be interesting to see how this one runs against the pack of Camaro's. The Alfa GTV is a Fly body car with a 3d chassis.
Mike B
Has not participated for a while but is keen to get back into the proxy races, this is a Scalextric based Chaparral 2F. Like the Pink Karr GTO, it is not so generously proportioned as it might have been compared to the Slot it version, but probably much truer to scale. Again will not be a likely event winner but could be a potential class winner.
