Anyone running or have rules for single manufacturer GT3 class?

Hi folks. Looking for some links to club rules for those racing single slot car brand  GT3 classes, if any.  Scalextric or Carrera would help me the most. Scalextric and Carrera are brands we have not raced in 15+ years and never, respectively. 

We will be replacing our Ninco GT1 class at end of 2022 and right now I am considering any one of several manufacturers GT3 options. Each of our club classes are structured around one manufacturers product line and I am looking to replicate that concept.  

FYI we like to keep things as simple as possible. Of 8 all non-magnet classes 4 are out of the box (Slot.it DTM, NSR F1, Sideways Group 5, Revo Slot GT2,) 1 changes tires only (Slot.it Group C), 1 allows weight only (Ninco 1950’s Le Mans), 1 changes motor only (Ninco GT1), 1 changes tires and allows weight (Fly 1960’s Le Mans). 

Appreciate any links successful rules or descriptions on what you do to the cars  

BTW also considering NSR, Sideways, ScaleAuto (easy to do completely non-magnet OEM rules on them) and maybe Scalextric or Carrera.

- SIDEWAYS: Lamborghini Huracan; Ford GT; McLaren 720S; BMW M6; Corvette C6R; Mosler; Corvette C7R

My club (and some others) worked with Gary Skipp at DiSCA as they developed their excellent GT4 Trophy standards. The Scalextric Clubman and Carrera Clubman spec cars are one-make classes - with an 'Open' category that gives potential for a multi-manufacturer class. The regs also give the race organisers plenty of flexibility to tweak the regs exactly how you want it. Although aimed at digital racing groups, GT4 Trophy is ideal for analogue racing too - just ignore the digital chip stuff.

At WHO/digital, we use the Scalextric Clubman rules, with very few of the optional extras included. Like your group, we like to keep things simple. It creates a fabulous class for team racing...

Look at the "rules" tab. 
We run an NSRGT class of racing, running the cars quite close to factory fit format to keep costs low.
It is a well liked, well attended race night.

The class was introduced 4 years ago to replace the obsolete "ninco gt" class.
We strongly believe in running modern cars that are currently available at mainstream outlets that do not require major retrofits just to make them run and where factory fit parts are available when components fail. 

The stronger cars in this format have proved to be
- corvette c6
- corvette c7r 
- mercedes gt 

The weakest 
- porsche 997
-ASV 
-BMW z4

Woodcote and nonfractal really appreciate the replies and links! When you run Carrera Clubman what tires do you specify or is that left open? Ditto on Scalextric Clubman?

I forgot to mention, 
Don't permit the mosler in an nsr gt class. 
The mosler may be a  old girl but she's still faster than other nsr gt cars. 

NWSCC run moslers in the top end "sport GT" class with permits multiple retrofits
- lightweight bodies
- lexan interiors
- 25k motors
- precision bearings
- suspension
- wheel upgrades 

We don't mix scaleauto cars with nsr (as per national gt3) because scaleauto's car specifications change regularly (pod offsets, chassis stiffness etc) without notification. 

Moslers are 5 in every six car grid in this class. 
Very hard to beat.

The choice is yours. At WHO/digital, we have an open ‘rubber or urethane’ policy. Most people use Paul Gage urethanes, although there are a few Slot.its too. We run on Scalextric Sport track.

For Carrera, Paul Gage tyres would be ideal - one size fits all the Carrera GT cars (I think), so they can easily become a ‘control tyre’. 

With Scalextric, there are two wheel types - a standard ‘Euro’ hub on the current inline cars, a non-standard wheel on the older sidewinders. Paul Gage makes tyres for both hubs, so that’s the simple solution.

Moslers aren't a homologated GT3 so shouldn't be in a GT3 specific race series anyway.
