I have a 1:24 scale carrera evolution track and 1:32 scale cars. One slot works perfectly, the other isn’t delivering power to the cars. This is independent of the car I use. All the cars work perfect on one side and will stop and slow and then gain full power intermittently on the other slot. Any thoughts would be most helpful

Somewhere in the circuit there is a break of contact.
You must methodically search for this.
Try putting a connecting wire just before or after where the car stops on the track leaving the car on the track with controller trigger pulled.
Does the car move?
There could be one or more joints that are causing this.
As for a solution once you have found it????

Maybe a fault in the hand comtroller for that lane? Have you eliminated that as the cause by swapping controllers from one lane to the other?

I did switch hand controllers and their connections to make sure it wasn’t a bad controller. It is just odd that it is only one side. The other slot works perfect

Hello NoviMRacer,
This sounds like a short circuit between the rails somewhere. The short will be causing the thermal trip in the power-pack to break the circuit, then cool down and re-make the connection allowing the car to move briefly before cutting out again.
Try separating the power track and see if the problem still exists when you only have the power track. After that start connecting the rest of the circuit in stages until the problem starts happening.
