I'm in a load of pain right now with the back which makes concentrating on anything a bit tough. See a surgeon on the 27th so hopefully it can get sorted.
Did manage to get some glazing on the Maserati although I'm not very happy with it. I thought that the plasticard would be thin enough but the glazing looks too inset. What with that and the fact that the shut lines are a bit wooly rather tempts me to consign the car to the 'finish off at some stage in the future' box. However, there is a Pittman 196B coming so I'll probably get it running at least. Have an MRRC steering unit for it too although it doesn't have wires.

Almost there now. It's clear that I need to change my technique with the shut lines. Cutting them direct into balsa leaves them too fuzzy, even with a new scalpel blade. I need to be brave and do them AFTER the surface is filled, maybe just before the final coat of paint. The bonnet ones here are easy as they are straight but much neater than the others.
Still await the motor but time to move on to the next project.
This will be a car for someone else and, as it fits within the specs for Bordo in December, if I make it too good, the bugger will probably beat me in the concours!! Smart, that's me!

Still on the list Steve but I have good reason to do another one first!. The Skoda might be third though as I want to do an old BMW coupe as well.
