Also, Spirit Peugeot 406, are these allowed?
I am not sure really, it did enter the French Renault Touring Car championship called Trophee, i can change the definition of the car permitted to include ONE Make Touring cars if necessary as I am happy to include it. In fact we could include the Mini Cooper also from this point of view.
I did not know about the Spirit car, a bvery nice looking model, but on google it appears to be the Peugeot 406 Coupe Silhoette, which I guess suggests that it was a Group 4 variation, and therefore tecnically should not be permitted. However it is a Saloon car so maybe ....... I will need to look into it. What competitions did it race at ?

I found this on the Ultimatecarpage, it's a race with other silhouette saloons, you could say DTM was a silhouette class too.

I have seen on Google the Spirit Peugeot 406 Coupe shown, so this model version is definitely permitted, the issue is really the Silhoutte version which as you say is not unlike some DTM models.
So I will accept this also in the Event 3b cars

I have made the adjustments to the DRAFT plan above.
I changed the definition to allow Saloons & Sedans which took part in any National or International Touring car Championship.
As there was or perhaps still is a Mini Cooper Championship, the Scalex version/versions have been included in Event 2
The Peugeot 406 Coupe / Silhouttes from Spirit are permitted in Event 3.
I have swopped over the Event 3 sub groups:
3A Scratchbuilds
3B Slot it Touring cars
As I do see the potential as them becoming seperate Events should there be sufficient entries for both in Event 3.
So there will be an allowance for 2 car entries in Event 3 but they must be in seperate sub groups as they are now.
I have seperated out the car lists for Event 3 into the sub groups, and perhaps it is possible that Slot it will introduce an additional Touring car model by the time we start this proxy next year which could be included. I have added the Slot it Datsun 510 to this sub group (as it is virtually the same size as the others anyway)

And so onto Plan 5
So I have decided to formally recognise a Slot It Event 4 as different from the Scratchbuild Event 3, which I think feels better. However it will depend on the number of entries as to if this remains seperate or becomes combined with Event 3 as originally proposed.
On the otherhand probably not so many cars in the Event 1 either. So it might be case of just rewarding the leading car if there is less than the ideal number of entries. But it would be nice to think we might get 10 entries per Event making 40 in all ??
And it does provide an opportunity to develope it's own destinct character as a "Control" Grouping.
So having considered the "Elephant in the room" car and the fact that Slot it are producing a broader range of Touring cars then elsewhere, I have introduced a maximum Track (width across outside tyre walls) of 56mm. The Datsun has a Track of about 52mm and the Calibra 60mm, I think it is feasible to improve the competitveness of the other cars (current and future) across the range by controlling the Maximum allowed track. The other aspect which could improve competiveness across the model range is the use of a "Control Tyre" So I have specified the PCS Grey F22 tyres which should help in this regard.
So the latest basic plan
If there is no real objection to this approach based on rational arguments, I will go ahead and add the associated general requirements to the plan.

The Datsun 510 isn't a DTM, it's what we would race in Small Saloons. Narrowing the track of DTM's to suit seems a retrograde step.
A better idea would be putting the Datsun in with the Revo Gr.2's as it's track width is similar but limit it to 8mm wide tyres.
The car that's going to struggle is the SlotIt Skyline as it's narrower that the other DTM's

The Event is meant to be for the Slot it Touring cars rather then just DTM’ s as the range of Touring cars that Slot it are introducing are not specific to DTM, the Nissan Skyline or the next BMW E30 are not either. So the Datsun would be eligible as a slot it Touring car Event.
The Nissan Skyline is 57mm

After mulling things over and looking at those control tyres on Pendle I'm warming to the idea.
Have you used those tyres before Graham?...are they any good?
