I vaguely think I remember that Ninco used to supply a part which clipped on the back of the S Can motor  and which fit onto the forward chassis motor lug.

The motor will be glued in but an adaptor is easy to source, my question was can you put ballast in that space instead?

I think that the intended way of fitting the motor into the chassis must be upheld. So the original Ninco motor adaptor or a replica ensuring that the motor assembly is fitted into both the forward and rear chassis lugs must be used. If this provides an opportunity to fit the ballast around the adaptor but still within the chassis, then that would be ok.

One of our entrants just noticed that the "Revoslot" brand for the Mercedes CLK in Event 1 was not listed, so I have corrected it now.

It's probably the meanest looking car they've released too.

Rules update
On testing (as I have one in my new Avant Lotus Elise GT1) I have now added the new-ish Avant 21K Long Can motor to the "Eligible motor list" , but the earlier higher spec 25k Green or older 22K Orange motors are not permitted.
In addition on request I have added the MR Slotcar Mazda 787B but the original motor must be replaced, so it can be entered but only with a eligible motor from the list.

Hi Graham,

As you mentioned motors, I found an older style NSR Shark 22 without the screw holes, it preceded the 21.5 EVO

Spec is 22.400rpm - 168 g.cm @ 12V compared to 21.900rpm - 164 g•cm @ 12V

Can I use that?

Basically if I can't measure a motor it does not get onto the list, I have the NSR Shark 20k rpm motors but nothing earlier than that I think, but I will have a look.

We ran Shark22 motors just 2 years ago, prior to Predator 22.5 motors
