The deed has already been done, John.
I deliberately went for the slower-curing version, to get myself enough pot-life - I'm no good under pressure, like to take my time. Pressure = stupid mistakes.
Viscosity: cps 80
Pot-life: 10-20mins
De-mould: 2-4hrs
Shrinkage: 0.007in./in
Shore D: 70
Best regards,
Stuart.

Looks good Stuart. If you are casting a body using a single piece mould ie slush casting then a shorter pot life is desirable otherwise you are holding the mould and moving the resin around inside for a long time. I f you are pouring into two part moulds no problemo or into open detail parts moulds no problemo either.
After ten years or so of casting I still make mistakes, have failures, have spills and splatters…… and make a mess but my success rates are usually high.

I'll be using open moulds, John.
.........And thanks for your input.
Also, thanks Joel for pointing me back to Smooth-On.
Best regards,
Stuart.
