This year of Olds 442 was an odd duck. I may be wrong, but I can't think of anyone turning one of these into a slot car. If you got one, please show us.
These are the parts I bought for $5. Barely enough for a slot car. I have since located the tail lights at a flea market.
I found a pic of a completed kit on Google that inspired me to paint it Tamiya Cobalt Green.
The body was painted, and a custom chassis was machined.
The car fell on it's roof seconds after being painted. Luckily a vinyl roof was in the works anyways.
This is the part where I hold my breath. Mating the chassis to the body.
The car runs. It needs bumpers, chrome trim, windows, and interior.
