Finished this this afternoon.the 1966 corvette grand sport.as raced at Sebring,technicaly the car as raced at Sebring is a 1962 car as only 5 grand sport corvettes were ever made the car raced at Sebring was chassis number 1 with the roof cut off,sold to Penske racing,the body is g.turne chassis Richard Mack ,running gear various,runs really well for a small car

What body did you use as a base? I assume that is 1/32nd?

It’s a George turner kit ,he based it on the revell corvette grand sport,there are bits that are not correct the bonnet bulge is the wrong shape and the front wing vents are wrong.and it should have 3 holes in the top of the right hand front wing ,but I’m not that good at reshaping bonnets ect so left it as was and it’s definitely 1/32 cheers
