These are small things... Glued with superglue, enforced with 1mm steel wire.
Test fitting! Once it all comes in place, the screen will be cut down to the right shape.
A first layer of primer reveals everything but is a great help to see what next has to be done.
This car is often pictured with panels covering the exhaust pipes. However, when it raced they were naked.
And side pipes always look great!

So much praise makes me blush...
Don't know if I am getting better, but I am no doubt getting slower than ever!
There are still some serious issues...

Well of course, the oh so many serious issues are obvious and clear to see by all but I'm sure you will fix them in the fullness of time

It pleases me that you notice all the serious issues, Gordon!
Believe me, sometimes people around me tell me to just finish the cars off and not worry about (what they call) minor issues!
Seriously, I think the car is too tall. I picked photos that do not properly show that up. I have to check it up...
Cheers

Maybe there is something in it!
I have stuck to Goggomobil and Lotus cars for a while...

Serious issues or not-so-serious, something had to be done!
More subtle changes on a body shell do not always come across on a screen, but let us give it a try!
Before and after pics.
#1 is from the same photo session as in the previous post, #2 is shot today.
I hope you agree it looks better a bit lower! Perhaps it should be even lower...
More to be done!
Compare to the real thing.
And, improved front louver. The gray areas are what remain unsanded...
Cheers

This beautiful craftsmanship Carver.
That 2mm you've dropped it really has made a difference, I wouldn't have spotted it unless you showed us those two pics.
I love your perfection.
