Graham I'd like to reduce my entry to one car please. Hopefully this will give someone on the waiting list a chance.

Some photos I cribbed off the South Manchester Slot Racing Club facebook page - 3 Rivers track which should feature in our Touring Cars Proxy

What’s the recommended gearing for this track and voltage?

I believe normally the club runs at a higher voltage, but for the Proxy series we normally ask all hosts to use 12volts, so that the cars are run at the same voltage regardless of track layout.

Wavegreen Good Morning

I have decided upon the Race Format and points awards for the Touring Cars Slotting Proxy, which is posted on the leading page as well as here

Race Format -The Proxy series will be run Championship style
Hosts will measure Race time over set number of Laps (depending on circuit length) This will be the Primary position determining measurement.
Fastest Lap times will also be recorded for each car as the Secondary Position determining measurement and will be used to determine final placings in the event of a tie between 2 or more cars.

Points awarded for the placings at the end of each Round for Event Placings and Car Class placings
Event & Car Class Placing's (ie 40pts available for a 1st in both Event & Class) per Round for Team Award.
1st = 20 pts
2nd = 15 pts
3rd = 11 pts
4th = 8 pts
5th = 6 pts
6th = 5 pts
7th = 4pts
8th = 3pts
9th = 2pts
10th & thereafter = 1pt

Awards
Event winners and runners up (2nd & 3rd)
Car Class winners (1st only)
Best Team ( one or two cars)

Wavegreen Good afternoon,

a couple of questions have been raised about motors in the "Eligible Motor List", so I have clarified this in the latest version of the approved motor list which I have attached here and on the leading page.
[attachment=30202]

I have added the Scaleauto Tech1 20K rpm, and the SRP 20K rpm S-Can motors to the Class A car motor list, as basically there are not many of the aftermarket 18K rpm motors available in the UK (or at least from PSR). The rules have been amended accordingly. So the reference to a Class specified motor rpm has been withdrawn in favour of the "Eligible Motor list - for each class"

I have added the Slot it Flat 6 (yellow) 20.5K rpm motor to the Class A eligible motor list (Resin Builds only)
This seems a reasonable request as these resin scratch builds often have better stability with a Flat 6 motor.
To my knowledge these motors are not able to be fitted in the standard RTR cars within this class anyway.

Glue does a great job of fitting a flat 6 in most chassis previously housing a FK180 motor  Thumbup

...although that would mean not the same 'type' as originally supplied by the car manufacturer so as you say not Class A

This is a great list!! Almost easier to list motors not allowed.  You’ve done a lot of testing wow!!! So my class B Event 2 car spins a Scalextric, slimline that is less than 23k is that ok to run or do I need to run a differential motor.
