I think my class A car was just so fast down the straights it got lucky, the v12 lm was a much better steer overall, as were a couple of others. The Astra was a good car, I think though its hard for the trigger finger to adjust to a touring car after an hour or so of running gt/lmps. In a touring car class it would be excellent.
I loved running the classic le man's class, I think they were all good runners, very few offs overall, some were just quicker than others on our track but I would expect that lass to have a few mixed up results on different surfaces.
The Daytona class didn't go how I was expecting at all from the shakedown, again under racing conditions the quicker in a straight line cars just had the advantage over better handling but slower cars. Feedback was my BMW was geared wrong, its 12/32 with a SA 20k motor I've used before but maybe is idiosyncratic to my driving style.
The 917/10 motor was lovely, in fact all of the cars with those illuminous green end motors were smooth, are they predator motors?
no they are called Pirhana motors, they are --supplied by Slot Car Corner in the USA
I think I might get a few, so if you or anyone else is interested we can combine an order to save on postal costs, I can look to get them before the end of this Proxy and send them to you with the return of your cars ?
Defintielty, I'll take 3, let me know costs when you can and I'll PayPal you the funds over.
Thanks

I think they're 22.5k. Which is annoying as the cut of for most of my club race classes is 22k. Still may be interested in a couple though

According to the Slot Car Corner web site if they are the PSM21 Pirhana motors are 21.5 rpm, but I am sure our friends from across the pond can confirm this ?

Graham is correct on the RPM for the Piranha Motors. The green endbell motors are Predator which spins 22.5k. Both brands are very consistent in performance with an occasional “fluke” motor.

I would be interested in a couple of predators green/yellow 22.5k, (maybe more depending on price) if a bulk buy is going on

I have checked on line and the motors are $8.99 each and for 10 motors postage $53.90 = $143.80. So divided by 10 motors $14.38 each motor.
There looks like there is enough interest to go ahead and order 10 motors (2 for myself) , so if you are interested please email me to confirm your order.
Hopefully they would arrive before we finish the Proxy in mid December, and they could be put in with the return of the cars. If not then there would be local UK postage added.
I will need to know by tomorrow, so that I can place an order with them over the weekend
