its only just getting light here .Mind you , I've just made myself a cup of tea , hard decision to to consider what flavor biscuits to have !! Nice to hear you're getting back to 1/32

Yeah, woke up early and felt very light headed when I tried to get up. Age rushing up. A cup of coffee for me, just the smell of tea makes me want to throw up so best avoided.

I have the bodies but I'm short of running gear now. However, a delivery this morning means that I can get on and make a few chassis.
Ronnie won''t see me for days. Stuff needs doing in the garden!! I did have a go at some brambles this morning and discovered that some bees were nesting down at the bottom of one of the trees the brambles were trying to strangle. Sadly, they decided to announce their presence the painful way. Left leg and forehead are now slightly bigger than they were. The one on the forehead is really quite sore which is unusual as my skull is so thick and insensitive. Old age I expect.

Sorry to hear that Gordon ,

.Next time wear a bash hat and tie string round the bottoms of you trousers ( even more critical if you're wearing shorts)
Hope the swelling goes down soon
The chassis building should take your mind off of it !!

Shorts and sandles!
I always thought the garden was a dangerous place which is why it's Ronnie's domain. I try and stick to indoors stuff but occasionally venture out there. Grass cutting of course and a bit of hedge trimming but otherwise I leave it to her. Maybe the bees know who is boss out there.

Perhaps a strongly worded letter would be in order

Yeah, Ronnie has been slapping gunge on my stings and it has helped. I still have a headache from the forehead one though. Nasty little buggers, no gratitude. If they had been wasps, they would have suffered in return.

One chassis done, awaiting wire! The motor is a screamer and a bit on and off. Should be interesting at Bordo in December.
The Paxton is for Bordo next June!!! Hope it survives that long.

I've gone right off bees

. This morning, my left knee is twice its normal size and my glasses no longer fit on my nose properly! At least ll the age lines have disappeared - cheap botox.
