I'd say welcome to the site, but I'm barely here myself. ;-)
Isn't that the way things now happen on Slotforum?
Some people also seem to be pursuing a high post count as if it was something worth aiming at. From a slot racing point of view, most of it is worthless and it clogs up the threads. (I seem to recall a teenage user doing the same thing years ago).

PS: And don't get me onto the topic of swastikas; in a car forum???
PPS: Apologies for the thread drift.

Welcome aboard Gary, long time no see. Are you still racing 1:1 cars?

I think urethanes is probably the best option if they were a club requirement, racing with rubber tyres can end up a bit of a nightmare as you have to have the right ones and be prepared to put time and effort (treatments & tricks) into getting them ready to race at their best whereas urethanes are super consistent and only need cleaning and polishing...plus they're cheap and you can make your own.

Hey Brian
I still have my MR2, but nothings happening unfortunately. I was meant to race the 2020 season, I was out testing in February that year but then we all know what happened. Spent my season budget surviving thereafter, because I lost all my work too.
Car’s just in the garage right now. Don’t really want to sell it, mainly because it seems more trouble than it’s worth. That said I don’t see myself on the track any time soon, sadly.
