Steve, I polished the vac-formed screen of an AA Bodies Chevron B8 as it had a mark on it. I got as far as 1200 grit and then polished with Silvo. Still not as good as I'd hoped so I flooded it with a large brush of Vallejo gloss varnish and it worked a treat. Goes on looking like milk (brush or spray) but then goes clear by some kind of Spanish magic. You should have the same luck with polishing out the solid clear mouldings from the kit. Failing that, my son (who you met) is just waiting for his vac-former to arrive on the slow boat from China and could always do you a sheet if you make a pattern from Milliput.
Hi Martin ,thank for the tip ,dought if I would be able to make a pattern ,not as adept as you .I am seriously considering getting another complete kit !!!
Steve
Fairlane nearing completion , waiting for decals from Pattosplace and due to an accident , waiting for new glass ,i don't have the patience to polish out the glue marks
Well another one finished ,glass came from Easter egg package , decals from Pattosplace . Might have to get GTM Ford Falcon next , seems like a good kit

Just change to 24th scale. Increases the available choices and includes some great cars. Fiat 500 anyone? (The original of course, the modern one is the size of a Golf Mk 1)
