1949 Ford 'Shoebox'
#1

My second scratch build done a year ago. Experimenting with circuit board as chassis. That stuff sure dulls bandsaw blades! It is digital and has lights. The rattle can clear coat was too 'hot' and caused 'crinkling' of the paint so the defective areas got sanded back and 'primered'. That's one way to hide mistakes! I'm sure more will come. The car runs pretty good! The markings are spurious.

I've one of these on my bench right now. Just need to pickup a driver & navigator to put it all together.

Thank you all for the replies and likes! I am new here so not sure if posting about others' comments is okay or frowned upon. The bumpers on this Ford are a little wide so you might trim them at the 'over riders' or whatever the little 'bumper-ettes' are called. This makes for a great car! I will eventually finish the blue one and there is a convertible in queue, too!

Nice work!

Nice comments are never frowned upon.  Thumbup

You can trim a few millimeters from the center of each bumper. This is how it looks after. No more hooks to catch pedestrians standing at bus stops.  Bigsmile
