HO Drag Proxy Winter Series 2020-1 Finale RACE REPORT
#51

Thanks for another superb event Andy. I always look forward to your fanzine, it is so well written.
Well done to the American support for the races, my other cars will see you guys at Bear Creek.
I am already looking forward to the next series of these races. I am sure that Jane will get her own back next time Wavegreen.

Thanks chaps! Your kind comments are always much appreciated.  UK cars will be in the post tomorrow morning - they are all paid and ready to go. The US cars are packed, just sorting a couple of things out - should be in the mail Wednesday.

It has been busy juggling the drag races and the WHO Rally-Sprint the past few months, but I've really enjoyed it all. Looking forward to getting the fanzines ready and tweaking the format of the paperwork and the fanzines for next time... I'm constantly learning and finding better ways of doing things. There are one or two necessary jobs on the strip too. After ten months and ten events - it's time for a close-season work schedule.

Next time...

The intro to the 2021-22 season is here: https://slotracer.online/community/showt...p?tid=1976 - I shall be adding more details very soon.

There are six races (4 midweek, 2 weekends) running between May 2021 and March 2022. The two weekend event are billed as 'Nationals' so there are prestigious titles to be won there... Maybe we need a Hall of Fame?

The first race is 18-19 May - that's 64 days away (9 weeks and 1 day) - enough time for everyone to get ready, I hope.

I plan to finish my Nostalgia Micro body and sort myself a 'new' street stock car salvaged from the SPD (Scalextric Police Dept?) scrapyard. The speed shop hasn't received instructions from Rebecca yet - she's too busy admiring her collection of medals - but I think some T-Jet tuning will be near the top of the list.

It must be nearly time for my six-monthly Lucky Bob order - so if anyone wants anything, let me know. Plenty of new T-Jets, NHRA and Nostalgia 4-Gears there, plus a couple of Top Fuelers. And spares. If you can't find what you're looking for on the website, just ask - I know it like the back of my hand.

Thanks for putting on the show Andy.

Just discovered the handbrake was left on in Razzle Dazzle, so plenty more to come from Jane's battleship next time Mazda!!!
