It definitely looks better now.
I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think the shape of the scoop on the door might be the throwing the proportions of the car off a little. To my eyes the scoop seems to go too high, which in turn stops the front wheel arch from sweeping down low enough.
But then again, I know nothing, and I'm probably wrong.

Thanks for your input and comments, guys!
@Tibbs: And 2 or 3 mm means 64-96 mm in 1:1 scale, rather much! It was a good idea to put similar side views in one post, it makes it easier for me as well to compare.
@Jason: That is exactly the sort of comment I appreciate!

Well spotted! We all know what they say about 4 eyes vs 2!
I often see that something is wrong, but sometimes it s hard to put the finger on it.

I used 0,75mm plastic rods to reshape the side scoops.
For making the bonnet even lower, I had to remove the narrow plastic bulges.
I have also sanded down the tail quite a bit.
Testing the screen fit once more.
For these later changes, I was helped by this pic. It shows a more flat surface of the top of the body than I initially thought it had.
A new layer of primer and I think I have come as far as I can get with the general shape, I think it looks Corvettish.
Of course a lot of detailing to do, including the grille... Something to chew on!

Thanks for your kind comments!
This is of course my idea of having fun.
An additional plain side view, if there is anyone nerdy enough to compare with the earlier ones.
