The rule set posted by joseph is a direct continuation of the UK slot rally rules that have been in existence for many years, proving popular and successful. They are used for live slot rallies and for all the rally proxies during lockdown in 2020 and 2021, which gave UK slot rallying the opportunity to break out of the South Wales-Oxford-Rockingham circle.

It makes absolutely perfect sense to me to base this exciting new slot rally proxy on the UK Slot Rally rule set - both in terms of continuity and encouraging the renaissance of slot rallying in the UK. Of course, when the 2023 or 24 rules update is put together, suggestions on 3D printed bodies etc can be considered.

The exciting thing for me is the format...

The apparent norm for proxy rallies is multiple locations and, on average, a couple of months start to finish. It is intended that ours will be of longer duration. Same location, multiple rounds and different stages each round.

It promises to be a stunning event - and I'll definitely be entering a car, probably a Ninco Subaru

Thank you for the history lesson it’s very much appreciated.   I will prepare a second 914 for the proxy my other eligible bodies are all running on sidewinder chassis.  I’m looking forward to it.

We have had to make the decision to defer our proxy rally until after Easter next year due to circumstances largely beyond our control. The event will run as detailed in our earlier post with no changes, other than the commencement date being altered.
We hope that those of you that have expressed an interest to compete can accommodate a late April/early May 2023 start date. We have space for a number of further entrants. We thank you for the support you have thus far shown this event.
In the meantime we will keep you all updated. We will also be able to share details of how we intend to use IT and social media in what we believe to be so far unique manner for a proxy event.

the continuity of a decent well founded easy to follow rule set is a good feature , im happy with this 

one question :- 'We have space for a number of further entrants' ?  
is there an entry list already ?

i am more than pleased someone else has taken up the proxy challenge other than Graham and Andy here in the UK 
in my TIN POT way of thinking , good drivers win races ( often not in the best car ) ,but  good tuners win proxies 


I'd be far happier if more people  committed 
and  actually entered proxies rather than sitting on the fence giving advice 

props to you Joseph and good work on the sponsorship 
i know it can be a thankless task 
looking forward to your event

We can share details of one exciting award. Red Dragon Slot Racing will provide one successful entrant in each of the three classes with a custom designed and printed 3d chassis for a 1/32nd hard bodied car of the entrant’s choosing.
Entries open on the 1st December and can be accepted through all the usual avenues.
Max two cars per entrant. Car eligibility rules on “featured” section of our club Facebook group.
Entry fee of £5 per car plus the cost of return postage.
