overall Kevan's Corvette had the fastest lap times over most of the rounds.
How can that be right then? Deciding a winner from a set of questionable results leavers a bad taste.
There is nothing questionable about the results, your car on the last Round had the same race time but had a slower "Fastest lap", so the additional point for a tie breaker is awarded to the car with the "fastest lap time"

Global GT Challenge Final Comments
The final results ended up being closer than I might have imagined, the Revoslots in particular were running most rounds within a 100th of a sec lap times and even the Procar Group within a 10th of a second in most cases. The Modified Standard Cars slightly more broader range of lap times.
I have recorded the rpm of the cars on my rolling road just for interest sake, and again very little difference between the cars in each group.
Hoping to have seen some explanation for the above average performers perhaps, however as usual it is the hidden aspects of construction which make the "super" cars SUPER !
Generally all the rounds went well, not everyone can manage videos or find the time to generate them I know, and sometimes they can be difficult to determine whats going on even when they are shown. But most entrants like to see there cars in action for better or worse.
So I raise a glass to the winners

and commiserations to all the other entrants... perhaps next time

Graham, thank you for organizing this proxy….A wonderful job as always. And thank you to the hosts for taking the time out of their schedules to drive our cars. Congratulations to the winners of each class and to the podiumite builders. I look forward to competing with you all in the next series.

The cars arrived back today from Lumb Valley, so hopefully they will be dispatched back to their owners over the next few days.

Sending out some cars tomorrow, I must apologise to the medal winners as the medals I received were somewhat larger than usual
If they were only made of real gold, you would be rich

Thanks Graham for running another entertaining proxy.
Mixed bag of results for me, safe to say my cars don't like wood... and I still don't really get who I was meant to be racing against in the various class/group/event mixes.
I do still have video footage from the Viking round which I was half way through editing together before life/work/stress/family/holidays/work(yes, that's there twice for a reason!) took over. I will aim to get the footage out as soon as I can - better late than never hey!

It was really very striking how well your cars worked on the plastic tracks but not on the wood, I think mostly the G25 tyres work so well on the former that they gave a false impression of how well they will run on wood. And I thought in general the cars were lighter than most of the competition set up for wood.
