Painting Lexan Interiors
#11

I have also recently started using acrylic paint pens, for small items, lines etc

This is the pet interior for a Ferrari I am finishing. Sprayed Matt black first, and then painted up. Still to finish off

Acrylic ? I thought Posca were oil based ?

Either way, don't be tempted to "klear" over them, ask me how I know  Rofl

Suffice to say, "Klear" makes them liquid again !

All the time, I could hear that voice in my head saying "just worry about the bits that will be seen..."

Before and after

With the original cage fitted. Lots of buttons to play with

That will do as my first Lexan paint job!

I love puttering with gears

Nice job so congrats on your first painted Lexan interior.
Sorry for getting in your head (my little voice   Rofl)

But if I may offer some constructive advice ...for a final finish:
Get some matt or semi gloss clear and wash down the bits on the interior that should not be glossy

For instance leave the drivers helmet glossy, but apply some mat clear over his gloves and overall...
That is unless you intentionally want to depict your driver has wearing shiny leather overalls and gloves ;)

With kind regards
Tamar
