So the factory in Taiwan sent the OLED screen plug in in wrong wiring config and wire gauge. I’ve also decided I want to keep the wires more discreet so good old red and black will be used not yellow, green etc.I’ve also decided the best way to get the factory on the same page is to send actual samples to them to duplicate.
I’ve also added an intermediate plug so you can install the OLED to the inside of the windscreen and still be able to remove the body unless I utilise extra long wires which I don’t want to do.
So here’s 2 production samples I made in ultra thin and lightweight 28AWG. You should now be able to pop the body off and swap a blown chip in around 60 seconds. Ultra important for 6 hr races.
